Orange Banana Berry Smoothie

Three ingredients. That’s all it takes for a perfectly sweet, refreshing and satisfying treat.
It’s that easy, it’s that simple, it’s that delicious!

My Little A. loves smoothies.  His whole face lights up when he hears the blender take off.
He knows something good is coming his way and he gets silly with excitement. I love that!

This weekend we took him to a big park and let him play in the leaves.  Oh my goodness,
did he (we) ever have fun, rolling around and frolicking about.  He just got used to walking
in his shoes outdoors and now he stomps in them.  It’s the sweetest thing.  I’m still amazed
that he’s running at just a little over twelve months. He certainly keeps us on our toes!

I think it’s wonderful that our Little One enjoys healthy foods, like oranges. He loves oranges.
But healthy doesn’t have to taste bad, now does it?  Nope, not at all! Quite on the contrary.
Smoothies are the perfect example of nutritious delectable goodness.  I love how you can make a million different variations and I have yet to make one that lets me down. It’s also a great way to sneak
in some protein.  I like to use hemp hearts for my dose, but whatever kind you choose, throw a scoop in the mix to feed your muscles and keep you strong all day long.

Did you get outside this weekend? We’re having some beautiful weather in the Capital right now
and I can’t wait to get out this afternoon and go for a long walk.

I hope you are having a great start to the new week.
Wishing you all a very good Monday!
