Mom’s Homemade Baked Apples
All you need is just a few wholesome ingredients to make these delicious baked apples. My mom has made this recipe for as long as I can remember. We enjoy them hot off the stove top, as they are or as a favourite topping for pancakes and yogourt. Some baked apples are sugar coated and sweet, but not these. The natural sweetness from gala apples is enough to satisfy and balances the warm cinnamon spice perfectly.

oooh yum! what a delish looking fall dish, love baked apples, now if we could get out of this 90 degree weather and it could actually feel like fall for me to indulge in this dish
Yum!! I have a few apples I’ve been wanting to do something with… I was thinking apple chips, but might make this instead! 🙂
Oh, that’s a toss up – both equally delicious!
I know I´d love this since I love anything with apples! 🙂
Do you have many apple orchards in Sweden?
i can just imagine the rich flavor of this awesome dish! Sean made us some apple cider last night and now i can’t get the taste outta my mind so this menu plan might be just the ticket 🙂 every image feels cozy/comf and full of autumnal warmth.
I love apple cider!! It’s seriously delicious. Crunchy, baked or steaming hot – apples just say Autumn to me. I love putting these baked apples in my oatmeal – it’s super comfort food 😀
These look just like the one’s my mother would make! thanks for reminding me!
