My Baby Shower Invitations by Minted

Mr. Smith and my Mom wanted to throw me a baby shower.  I wasn’t too sure if you were suppose to have a baby shower for your second (mixed etiquette advice!) – but I thought, hey – a party is a party! Who doesn’t love a party?  So, it was decided that we are going to have a brunch; inviting guys, gals, babes and kids. I’m down with celebrating this precious little girl on the way!

And you know who else is excited to celebrate? Minted. That’s who! 😉  Let me begin by saying, if you need invitations, cards, party supplies, journals, art prints – head straight over to Minted and come back to read the rest of my post. Hehehe, I’m serious! You’ll find so many beautiful choices, you won’t even need my heartfelt convincing.

Minted is a wonderful company to shop from and this lucky girl is collaborating with them to have one super-duper amazing baby shower! Browsing online through all the options to choose from, I fell in love with the “Shower of Love” Party Decor. I got to tailor make my invitations and waited in anticipation for them to arrive in the mail.  My whole online experience was terrific; from the design process, the review, and customer service emails.

I was ecstatic the day they arrived!

The colors are so pretty and true to how they looked on the web. The card stock is excellent quality and has a nice weight to it. They came all wrapped up perfectly in green ribbon and ready to be sent to our friends and family.  I am incredibly pleased with how they turned out, and my entire experience with Minted!

Giving you a sneak peek at some of the fun items from the “Shower of Love” Party Decor. You’ll have to stay tuned for the baby shower pictures and….

A very Special Minted Giveaway coming soon!

I can’t wait to share with you all the details of the party and reveal the BIG giveaway!! [line]

  1. These are so great … my sister is pregnant with her second, so we decided to throw her a smaller, laid-back shower this time around. I’ll definitely check out Minted when it’s time to create the invitations!

    1. Thanks Heather! I had a lot of fun customizing them and choosing from the many beautiful designs! Congrats to your sister 🙂

  2. Hi Emily – what adorable invites! I’m sure you are looking forward to celebrating the arrival of your baby girl! Are you now fully recovered from HG – extreme morning sickness?

    1. Dear Nala, thank you so much, I thought they were really sweet. I really am looking forward to the shower and certainly to the day our baby girl comes! I’ve been free from HG for nearly 2 months now and feel a lot better. The first month after the worst of it, my body was really exhausted and needed to recuperate. I’m feeling good right now ( besides normal pregnancy woes! haha!) and so thankful that the HG didn’t continue throughout this pregnancy. Thank you for asking 🙂

  3. These are too cute! I will have to take a look at the rest of their designs! And hey, if someone wants to throw you a shower, let them!

    1. Lol…thanks Jess! I’m definitely feeling more and more okay with the idea of two of my favorite people throwing me a party! (and I get to help decorate, which I love to do….sooo..!!!)

  4. what?! i thought baby showers…no matter if it’s your 1st or 5th, were definite to-do’s of enjoyment for a momma-to-be. i’d let that etiquette question fall away and soak all the goodness in, no one should ever dictate how you celebrate your beloveds. i’m smitten with these invites Em, they are super cute and colorful!

is that your handwriting too? at 1st glance i almost thought it was mine, we’ve got similar penmanship. sweet keepsakes to be added to the ongoing entourage right?! xo

    1. Awe, thanks. I’m definitely hearing that message from a lot of friends 🙂 Yep, that’s my handwriting, I guess we have an artistic connection! xo
