Raspberry Mint Lemonade Frozen Yogurt from Cherished Bliss
Hi everyone! My name is Audra and I blog over at Cherishedbliss.com along with my sister Ashley! I focus on creating family recipes while my sister is busy designing DIY projects; we would be delighted for you to stop by our blog anytime.
I was so happy Emily asked me to guest post for you today because Emily and I have been blog friends for quite sometime. Although, I do not know her personally, she is one of my best blogging friends. It is really amazing the people you meet in the blogging world and how we stay connected. We encourage each other, watch our families grow, and share wonderful recipes and projects that bring joy to our lives. I guess you could call us modern day pen pals! Well, today I am honored to bring you a new, yummy recipe for Raspberry Mint Lemonade Frozen Yogurt. You are not going to believe how easy this is to make and it is so delicious! I know you are ready for the recipe, so let’s get started!
In a high rpm blender I blended 1 cup of sugar in the raw turbinado cane sugar to powder form adjusting the speed from low to high. You do not have to do this step, but the sugar should be as fine as possible to ensure the sugar can be easily dissolved. You can also use agave nectar or honey in the place of sugar.
Then in a food processor combine a 12 oz frozen bag of raspberries, 3 TBSP of fresh lemon juice, the zest of 1/2 large lemon, 1/2 cup of the sugar in the raw powdered sugar, 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, and 1 TBSP of fresh minced mint.
Process on high until smooth and creamy, about 3 minutes.
Serve immediately or store in a freezable container for up to a month. Enjoy your Raspberry Mint Lemonade Frozen Yogurt in a real lemon bowl and garnish with mint leaves.
