Smooth Ride Mamas & Papas Stroller Review
Surely you’ve heard of the LBD; the must-have staple in every woman’s wardrobe, known as the little black dress. But, have you heard of the little black stroller (LBS)? I have a feeling Coco Chanel herself would have adored the Sola2 by Mamas & Papas, for its versatile and chic design. She was all about that, and so am I.
On the day we received our stroller, I took Miss Abigail out for a walk in her new ride. Goodness was that girl comfortable! I positioned her at the mid-point recline and she was able to relax her head back with ease, while still taking in the scenery. She loved the front bar, bare of stroller toys, she used it to prop her feet up and feel the breeze in her toes. She was insistent upon that. Her shoes didn’t last long that day and made their way into the practical storage compartment below her seat.
The Sola2 stroller has a reversible seat so that you can be face to face with your baby or have the option of them looking outwards. The handle height is adjustable, which is ideal – because at 5’9, I needed the added height, and it was perfect. Also, it’s so easy to drive, thanks to the solid front swivel wheels.
Additional features also include:
- Newborn to 50 lbs.
- Compact design
- Front and rear suspension
- Comfy foam grip handle
- Canopy Window
- Multi-position flat recline; 5-pt harness
- Rain cover
- Adjustable leg rest and foam grip handles.
- Accepts Graco Classic Connect and Primo Viaggio Infant Car Seats (adaptor sold separately).
I am giving this stroller an A+. I love how cozy Abigail is in it. I love how easy it is to adjust her recline. I love how stable and smooth it is on bumpy pavement. There were only two shortcomings that I noted; no cup holder for my water bottle (sold separately) and the sun visor doesn’t move all the way over, which I remedied by switching Abigail to forward facing, when the light was getting in her eyes. So how come I still gave it an A+? Bonus points for style, design, easy storage and a custom fit rain cover.
The Sola2 Mamas & Papas Stroller is available for purchase at Toys “R” Us ($499.99 ARV).
Even Aiden wanted in on the action and pushed his little sister up a hill smoothly, without the stroller wobbling one bit!
