This weekend we’ve been hanging out with my brother and father-in-law. It’s wonderful that they have come up from North Carolina for a visit. A mix of talking, relaxing, and Ottawa tourism is where the days have taken us. Aiden and Abigail are thrilled to receive all that extra love and attention – and I love watching it unfold.
It’s been moody weather, with threatening grey clouds, distant rumbles, then startling bursts of sunshine – with unexpected hot rays….then more dark skies. Strange, but terribly wonderful for lounging a bit longer in bed as the dim light spills through the blinds. The perfect kind of Sunday living.
