Summer Vibes: The Printed Maxi Dress

I could live in maxi dresses. In face, I pretty much do – all summer long. They are easy to throw on and feel “pulled together” while being super comfortable. When you start adding some accessories to a maxi dress, like a summer hat, cute shoes, a contrasting belt or a bold purse, then it goes from just another dress to a styled look.

Again, it doesn’t take much to add a necklace or couple of bangles, right? But this is one summer look I adore!

The Summer Maxi Dress

I found this maxi dress on the sale rack at Reitmans. It was 40% off and cost about $17 (without tax). What a steal! They have lots of other similar styles on their website you can check out or pop in stores to see if you can pick up this one!

This whole look is effortless – easy makeup, air-dried hair, and flip-flops…not a lot of work to achieve, yet there’s something summer-fresh about it! Of course, a sweep of bright coloured lipstick certainly adds a punch, don’t you think? My fave is right now is glo Minerals suede matte crayon in sorbet.
